Atlantic KET Med features a management consortium of seven organizations: key stakeholders in the Med Tech sector in the Atlantic Area of the EU.
The consortium, conceived to be representative of the Key Enabling Technologies and businesses that use them, spans the EU Atlantic Area with partners in the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, and Portugal.
The broad Geographic and Technical span of the consortium brings significant resources into play for Atlantic KET Med. Technical expertise in Photonics, Advanced Manufacturing, Nanotechnology, and Medical Technology are coupled with clinical knowledge and commercial expertise to provide a complete package of support and facilities to enable pilot production for next-generation medical devices.
Atlantic KET Med is led by the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG), a world-class third level teaching and research institution in the west of Ireland at the heart of one of the top global clusters of medical device companies.
